Refund Policy
PKCW College of Nursing for Women is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness regarding fee payments and refunds. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which fees may be refunded to students.
1. Admission Cancellation Before Course Commencement Students who wish to cancel their admission before the commencement of classes must submit a written application to the Principal. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting administrative and processing charges as per the college rules and regulatory guidelines.
2. Withdrawal After Course Commencement Requests for withdrawal after the commencement of classes will be considered according to the regulations of the affiliating university, nursing council, and government authorities. Tuition fees for the ongoing semester or academic session may not be refundable once classes have started.
3. Security Deposit Refund Refundable security deposits, if any, will be returned upon completion of the course or withdrawal from the college, subject to: Clearance of all dues and liabilities. Return of library books, laboratory equipment, identity cards, and other college property. Submission of a No-Dues Certificate.
4. Hostel Fee Refund Hostel fee refunds, if applicable, will be governed by the hostel rules and may be subject to deductions for the period of occupancy and administrative charges.
5. Non-Refundable ChargesThe following fees are generally non-refundable: Registration fees Admission processing fees Prospectus charges Examination fees already paid to the university or regulatory authorities Any other fee specifically declared as non-refundable
6. Refund Processing Time Approved refunds will normally be processed within 30 to 60 working days from the date of approval. Refunds will be made through bank transfer, cheque, or other approved payment methods.
7. Exceptional CircumstancesThe college reserves the right to consider special cases involving medical emergencies, legal requirements, or other exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
